The game has a totally automated update procedure.

If you are connected to the internet each time that you launch the program, the program automatically looks for these updates. The updates are then downloaded and installed.

  • Bug corrections:

    - Fixed a crash in the case of a war against a mercenary group
    - Fixed several situations that cause the commando to be blocked
    - Military units of the AI that come as supports in a conflict now return to their bases after the war is over
    - Fixed various inventory modification bugs with DNA
    - Other fixes for possible crashes

        - Game begins on 01/01/2023
        - Updates on the heads of state and political alignments in Brazil, Italy, the United Kingdom and Iran.
        - Balanced and improved system for calculating scores
        - Addition of a 'Continue' button on the victory screen to continue the game
        - Addition of an advanced option in which the game score is calculated solely on the completion of secret objectives.
        - Corrected the inability to cancel an ongoing action or to give another order to a character who is performing another action with 'Repeat this action for all targets of this type' enabled
        - Military units ordered to return to base will no longer be stuck if the base that they are attempting to reach is full
        - Corrected the problem in updating the display when a character acquires several different objects at the same time
        - Characters taken prisoner after the military captures a city now appear inside the city where they have been incarcerated
        - Corrected the audio message that says the wrong country when a country at war surrenders
        - You are now able to change the status of a UN member in DNA mode
        - The psychological profile 'Discreet' is now available in the list of profiles when you want to modify a character's profile in DNA mode
        - In DNA mode, right-clicking on a territory now displays the correct country's information
        - When modifying the Casus Belli value in DNA mode, it does not revert to the original value after closing the window
        - It is once again possible for the Commando to separate from their unit and rejoin it without being blocked
        - Other minor bug fixes

            - Addition of a button in the research center menu to show the progress in research points of the different domains
            - Fighters and warships outside a base that is destroyed are now reassigned to the nearest valid base
            - The action 'Cut off commercial relations' can now be completed
            - Fixed a bug that creates many political characters in the capital of a country whose leader lost the elections
            - Improved display of different instigators in action menus
            - When dismissing a character, the character limit counter is reduced
            - The character limit option no longer automatically sets to 10 when changing the Type of game
            - Added a tooltip for characters that appear semi-transparent
            - Improved optimization for multiplayer games

                - You can now manage money from a ministry slush fund you can transfer to other controlled characters and use to create cash and bribes

                Game improvements:

                - You can now reconnect to a multiplayer game after being disconnected
                - You can now connect to a multiplayer game through an IP adress
                - You can now change the UPNP port without creating a new multiplayer lobby
                - Giving or asking objects to uncontrolled characters now costs influence points, or give influence points in the case of a gift of a precious object
                - Every character has access to the action « Bribe by financial transaction »

                Bug fixes:

                - You no longer gain score when modifying the state budget without applying the changes
                - Dependancies do not display in the current conflcits panel anymore
                - You can now create fake ID badges when the Director of intelligence agency is in another country
                - Fixed a bug that could prevent loading a save from a previous version
                - Fixed animations and other visual issues when inviting a character to a restaurant
                - Fixed a bug in the SMS when the Psychoanalyst send a patient’s psychiatric information

                    - You can now randomly choose the country played and the opponents in solo mode.
                    - The name of the creator of a multiplayer game is now displayed in the list of online games.
                    - Flags are displayed in the news preview to quickly see which country the news comes from.
                    - There is a greater chance that a country will retaliate with a nuclear strike during a war.
                    - More military bases in the UK
                    - Fixed a bug that caused missiles to stick to the target without exploding.
                    - Fixed a bug that caused all break-in attempts to automatically try a second time and succeed.
                    - Players are no longer automatically placed in a team with other players in online games.
                    - You can no longer destroy satellites with air units
                    - There is no longer a crash when a player leaves a team in a multiplayer lobby.
                    - The list of characters is now displayed correctly when they are in a team with other players in a multiplayer lobby.
                    - Fixed game sorting and duplication in the multiplayer lobby list

                    - The Kremlin has now the correct size and location in Moscow
